Dante Landucci, MD

Dante Landucci, MD, was in clinical practice with Board certification in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Pulmonary Diseases for more than two decades. As a US Public Health Service medical officer and then academic (Clinical Associate Professor), Dr. Landucci has worked in a broad spectrum of settings ranging from Rural Health/Migrant Health to 6+ years intramural at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The latter included formal training as a translational scientist and clinical trialist. While in practice, he was a consultant to medical device and pharmaceutical companies. Since 2008, he has worked as a CRO Medical Director on numerous aspects of clinical studies development and execution.

Dr. Landucci is well-versed in optimal design and conduct of clinical trials across several Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular, Renal, and Pediatric indications. He has experience with numerous procedures required by respiratory and critical care studies and possesses particular expertise in contending with premature infants (gestational age as early as 24 weeks) immediately after delivery. He has supported research involving topical, systemic, and inhaled therapies for respiratory and non-respiratory conditions as well as trials for companion and stand-alone devices (including wearable and remote devices) and software as medical device (SaMD). Dr. Landucci also applies his experience to navigate (the often thorny) regulations and logistics of controlled substance use in global clinical trials.
